Winter Weather: Snow Closures and Emergency Meals
Infrequently during the winter months, PMOW is unable to provide meal delivery service due to unsafe or impassable conditions caused by snow storms.
Each fall our homebound clients are provided with three shelf-stable meals to be used in the event of Meals On Wheels closure.
To determine whether PMOW will be closed, you may listen to FM 95.9, or visit the school district website: www.prescottschools.com.
If the schools are closed or there is a delay scheduled, Prescott Meals On Wheels will not be delivering. In addition, the answering machine at our office (445-7630) will also state that we are closed. |
